TIME OUT In Need of Healing
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him/her, anointing him/her with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up…”—James 5:14
Cancer, HIV, AIDS, Lupus, Sickle Cell Anemia, MS, and other diseases are prevalent in our society. Our society is in need of healing. Our communities are experiencing hate, racism, murder, thievery and other crimes that come from an ill and/or desperate mind and heart.Truly there is a need for corporate prayer; we all need to pray as a family. We also have to put in the work needed to build ourselves back up. We work in union with God for our healing.
There are those who have neglected taking medication to prove their faith. This is not always the answer to our healing. Faith in God is essential for healing but we need to also have faith in the genius that God placed in health care providers as well. Those who contracted HIV are living longer because they faithfully take the medication prescribed. Money is raised daily to find cures and medical treatment for Cancer patients. If those who are healing from disease do not take the medicines needed to aid in healing they can jeopardize their chances to be made whole.
As you take your prescribed medicine, rest and spend time in prayer and meditation. Visualize yourself in the presence of God…
“I am one with God. I am healed and whole. I am light and love. I am one with God”
Say this throughout the day as you breathe slowly, in and out. Find a scripture passage that gives you peace. Now, you are working in conjunction with God to make all things new. God knows that you are in need of His help in your healing. In Matthew 7:7 Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” We have dominion over this earth and we exercise our dominion through our asking in faith, believing in God, for what we need. If you need healing from anything ask. Pray in all things and trust in the Lord with all your heart. No matter what happens rely on God for your peace of mind and your healing.
TIME OUT: I trust You God. I am one with You. You said ask and I would receive. I seek Your grace in place of grace.
